The increasing number of rectification devices, variable frequency speed regulation devices, industrial power sources, and various power electronic devices in the distribution network has caused nonlinear and unbalanced loads, resulting in voltage and current distortions in the power system. In order to solve the problems of harmonics and reactive power in the power system and improve the quality of power supply, active power filters that effectively suppress harmonics and compensate for reactive power are needed.

Active filter is a new type of specialized equipment for power harmonic control, which adopts modern power electronics technology and digital signal processing technology based on high-speed DSP devices. The fully differential amplifier GX4551/GX4552 provides an ideal solution for high-performance active filter design. Its fully differential architecture, wide bandwidth, and low noise characteristics are particularly suitable for the needs of modern mixed signal systems.
GX4551/GX4552 is a single/dual channel, low-noise, high-precision, 150MHz fully differential amplifier suitable for high-precision data acquisition systems, with features such as track to track output and wide output common mode control. It can be used in conjunction with various high-precision analog-to-digital converters to provide excellent signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and spurious free dynamic range (SFDR).

Due to its negative power rail input (NRI) characteristics, it can be used to connect DC coupled, ground centered source signals to a single power differential input ADC. The ultra-low DC error and drift performance can meet the input requirements of 16 to 20 bit successive approximation registers (SAR). Wide range output common mode control can support 1.8V to 5V power supply ADC, meeting the common mode input requirements of ADC from 0.7V to 3.0V or above.
