With the evolution of communication technology from 4G to 5G and the exploration of future communication technologies, the performance of digital receivers is extremely demanding. Diversity multi band multi-mode digital receiver is an important component in communication systems, which requires the ability to accurately receive and process signals from different frequency bands and multiple modes in complex electromagnetic environments. GX9208 is a dual channel, 14 bit, 3GSPS analog-to-digital converter designed specifically for high-performance communication and multi-mode digital receivers. It can meet the requirements of wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, and low power consumption, providing engineers with powerful signal processing capabilities.
The GX9208 chip is equipped with on-chip buffers and sample and hold circuits, specifically designed for low power consumption, small size, and ease of use. This product is designed to support communication applications and can achieve direct sampling of broadband analog signals up to 5GHz. In addition, the analog-to-digital converter has been optimized in various aspects, including wide input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, and small package with low power consumption.

1. Broadband signal sampling and high-performance design
GX9208 supports broadband analog signal sampling up to 3GHz, which can meet the sampling requirements of multi-mode digital receivers for high-frequency signals. The dual channel ADC core of its multi-level, differential pipeline architecture, combined with on-chip buffers and sample and hold circuits, provides guarantees for high sampling rates and excellent linearity. In addition, GX9208 also integrates a reference voltage source, simplifying the design process and reducing external component requirements.
2. Powerful digital signal processing capability
Each ADC channel of GX9208 is connected to two digital down converters (DDCs), each of which contains up to five cascaded signal processing stages, including a 12 bit controlled oscillator (NCO) and four half band extraction filters. This design can effectively reduce data rates while supporting the complex signal processing requirements of multi band receivers. The flexibility of DDC modules allows engineers to configure and optimize signal processing flow according to specific application requirements.
3. Flexible interfaces and configuration options
GX9208 supports JESD204B encoded serial digital output. Users can configure high-speed serial output as 1, 2, or 4 channels based on DDC configuration and channel rate requirements of the receiving logic device. This flexible configuration method can meet the needs of different system architectures and optimize data transmission efficiency.
