Vibration signal acquisition equipment is widely used in mechanical fault diagnosis, structural health monitoring, geological exploration and other fields. Its task is to capture wide dynamic range signals from weak vibrations to strong shocks (such as seismic waves), and identify potential anomalies by analyzing frequency, amplitude, phase and other characteristics. Strong anti-interference ability is required to resist electromagnetic noise in industrial environments.
The vibration signal acquisition equipment has extremely strict requirements for data acquisition. GXSC‘s 32-bit high-precision AFE GX1284, with its wide dynamic range and high-precision features, is a very suitable choice for vibration signal acquisition equipment. The GX1284 is fully compatible with replacing ADS1284 in terms of performance.
GX1284 is a high-performance single-chip high-resolution analog-to-digital converter that includes a dual channel multiplexer, a low-noise programmable gain amplifier (PGA), a multi-stage sigma delta modulator, and a digital filter combination. A dual channel multiplexer can be used for signal measurement and input switching of ADC test signals. The signal testing mode can test the background noise of the chip through internal input short circuits, which facilitates equipment diagnosis during operation. PGA has the characteristics of high input impedance and low noise.

GX1284 has excellent noise, linearity, and distortion performance. The modulator output is filtered and extracted by an on-chip digital filter to generate sampled data output at a set rate. The digital filter provides data rates ranging from 250 to 4000 SPS. High pass filters (HPFs) have programmable transition frequencies and bypass modes. The on-chip gain and offset calibration registers support calibration of sampled data. Synchronize input pins to control the timing of ADC conversion. Turning off the input pin can put the ADC into shutdown power-saving mode.
