The function of the power line monitoring and protection system is to ensure power supply safety and prevent equipment damage. It requires real-time, accurate, and comprehensive monitoring of the voltage, current, and power parameters of the power line. When there are abnormalities such as overvoltage, overcurrent, harmonic exceedance, three-phase imbalance, etc., the protection action is quickly triggered. The monitoring system needs to collect parameters such as multi-phase voltage/current, and if there is a sampling delay between channels, it will cause phase calculation deviation.
The GXSC‘s eight channel 18 bit 200kSPS synchronous sampling ADC GX7608 is highly compatible with the "synchronous, accurate, fast, and reliable" requirements of power line monitoring and protection systems, and can replace AD7608 with PIN TO PIN as a new solution for power line monitoring systems.

In order to simplify the PCB design of the power line monitoring system, the ADC GX7608 is equipped with an input buffer with a 1M Ω input impedance and an anti aliasing filter for direct acquisition of analog signals. It also integrates a high-precision reference voltage generator and buffer that can be flexibly configured. GX7608 only uses a 5V power supply to support the conversion of true bipolar input signals of ± 10V and ± 5V.
GX7608 supports parallel or serial mode and can be configured through different connection modes of hardware pins. This feature creates multiple connection conditions for the interface connection between the device and microprocessors or DSPs. The GX7608 has the following features:
