GXSC 8-channel 24 bit analog-to-digital converter GX131E06 compatible with ADS131E06 for high-precision signal acquisition in relay protection devices

Time:2025-09-02 Views:384
Relay protection devices ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid in the power system, monitoring the voltage/current signals of power equipment such as transmission lines, transformers, and generators in real time. When abnormalities such as short circuit overload and grounding faults occur, they quickly trigger tripping or alarm actions to avoid the expansion of faults. During normal operation, the signal is stable, but in case of faults, high-frequency transient signals may be generated, such as short-circuit current spikes reaching 20 times the rated current, and there are a large number of harmonics, switch operation noise, and other interferences in the power grid.
The analog-to-digital converter GX131E06 is a chip designed specifically for signal acquisition in power systems. The chip features 6-channel synchronous 24 bit accuracy, ultra-high sampling rate, strong anti-interference ability, and integrated protection function, making it suitable for harsh environments in power systems. The GX131E06 is widely used in industrial power monitoring, protection, testing, and measurement applications due to its wide dynamic range, scalable data transmission rate, and internal fault detection monitoring meter. Its high integration and excellent performance enable the product to create upgradable industrial power systems while greatly reducing size, power consumption, and overall cost.
GX131E06 has a flexible input multiplexer on each channel, which is independently connected to generate signals internally for testing, temperature, and fault detection. Fault detection can be performed internally within the device, which uses an integrated comparator with trigger levels controlled by a digital to analog converter, and can operate at data rates up to 64kSPS. The characteristics of GX131E06 are as follows:
