GXSC Analog-to-Digital Converter Replaces ADS4449 in Communication Test Equipment

Time:2025-11-12 Views:97
Communication systems typically involve analog signals across multiple frequency bands, such as radio frequency signals and intermediate frequency signals. These analog signals carry rich information like voice, images, and data, requiring precise processing and analysis. The signals span a wide frequency range and large bandwidth, demanding extremely high accuracy and speed in signal processing. Additionally, signals are subject to various interferences during transmission, such as noise interference and multipath interference, which degrade signal quality. Communication test equipment must possess robust anti-interference capabilities to accurately extract useful signals from complex interference environments.

The GXSC‘s four-channel 14-bit 250 MSPS analog-to-digital converter boasts the advantages of high sampling rate, high precision, and low noise, ensuring stable operation and efficient communication for base stations. Therefore, it is highly suitable for use in communication testing equipment, enabling pin-to-pin replacement of the ADS4449 to reduce design costs.
The GXSC analog-to-digital converter (ADC) features high linearity, with each channel‘s ADC core employing a multi-stage, differential pipelined architecture and integrating output error correction logic. Each ADC boasts high bandwidth and supports multiple user-selectable input ranges. The ADC incorporates duty cycle correction circuits to stabilize the duty cycle of internal clock signals, ensuring consistent outstanding conversion performance. The GXSC ADC outputs conversion data directly via two pairs of cross-linked, multi-channel multiplexed 14-bit LVDS interface circuits. The chip can be flexibly configured in power-down mode to significantly reduce power consumption. Programming for configuration and control is accomplished through a four-wire SPI serial interface.
