GXSC Dual-Channel 14-Bit 2.6GSPS High-Speed Analog-to-Digital Converter Replacing AD9689 for Electronic Warfare Applications

Time:2025-12-18 Views:19
Electronic warfare primarily employs electronic and electromagnetic wave technologies, encompassing radar countermeasures, radio communication countermeasures, and光电 countermeasures. The system architecture mainly consists of five components: the analog front-end, digital processing, clock, battery and system power supply, and signal generation.

Among them, the analog front-end module can utilize the GXSC dual-channel 14-bit 2.6 GSPS high-speed analog-to-digital converter, which integrates two independent high-performance ADC cores. The device features an on-chip buffer designed to support communication applications capable of directly sampling broadband analog signals up to 5 GHz.

The GXSC analog-to-digital converter features advantages such as high input bandwidth, high sampling rate, excellent linearity, small package size, and low power consumption. The dual-channel ADC core employs a multi-stage pipeline architecture and integrates on-chip digital correction algorithms. Each ADC has broadband input and supports various user-selectable input ranges. The integrated reference voltage source simplifies design complexity. The analog input and clock signals are differential inputs, along with several functions that facilitate automatic gain control (AGC) in communication receivers. A programmable threshold detector allows monitoring of incoming signal power using the fast detection control bit in the ADC registers.
In addition to rapid detection output, the GXSC analog-to-digital converter also provides signal monitoring capability. The signal monitoring module delivers additional information about the signals digitized by the ADC. Users can configure the JESD204B subclass 1 high-speed serial output into various channel modes, including single-channel, dual-channel, quad-channel, and octal-channel modes, based on data configuration and the acceptable channel data rate of the receiving logic device. The ADC supports multi-device synchronization via the SYSREF+ and SYNCINB± input pins.

Flexible power-off modes enable multiple low-power modes, all of which can be programmed using a 3-wire serial port interface (SPI).
