GXSC ADC Replaces AD9268 for RF Therapy Devices

Time:2026-08-05 Views:160

RF therapy devices are precision medical instruments used in pain rehabilitation and minimally invasive physiotherapy. They typically employ high-speed, high-precision signal components to build their data acquisition systems. During RF treatment, the output RF power, load current, and temperature vary dynamically in real time with changes in human tissue impedance. If signal acquisition suffers from latency, insufficient precision, or waveform distortion, it can easily lead to energy output imbalance and treatment parameter drift.

GXSC has introduced an industrial and medical-grade, high-performance, dual-channel pipelined ADC. It features 16-bit ultra-high sampling precision and a maximum sampling rate of 125 MSPS. Built on a 1.8 V low-voltage single-supply architecture, it incorporates multi-stage differential pipelined correction logic, enabling simultaneous high-speed and high-precision acquisition of RF therapy device power waveforms, current, impedance, and temperature signals. Its performance is comparable to Analog Devices‘ AD9268, making it the preferred signal acquisition solution for Chinese replacement applications.

The GXSC ADC output data can be sent directly to two external 16-bit output ports, which can be configured as 1.8 V CMOS or LVDS. When needed, flexible power-down options can significantly reduce power consumption. Setup and control programming is accomplished via a 3-wire SPI-compatible serial interface. To meet various application requirements and scenarios, this ADC is available in product families with different speed grades—60M, 80M, 105M, and 125M—enabling flexible power management, with grade identification accessible through the speed grade register.
