DCS (Distributed Control System) is an automated process control and management equipment. During system operation, various field sensors and transmitters convert analog process variables into electrical signals. The DCS analog input modules perform signal filtering, isolation, and analog-to-digital conversion, transforming analog signals into high-precision digital data.
High precision, high real-time performance, high stability, and multi-channel consistency are the core development trends of analog input modules in modern DCS distributed control systems. GXSC‘s single-channel 16-bit 250kSPS ADC can replace the AD7687 in DCS analog acquisition modules, enabling high-precision, highly reliable, non-latency, multi-channel simultaneous acquisition of industrial process parameters.

The GXSC ADC integrates a low-power, high-speed 16-bit sampling ADC with no missing codes, featuring an internal conversion clock and a versatile serial interface port. The chip also includes a low-noise, wide-band, high-speed track-and-hold circuit. On the rising edge of CNV, the chip samples the voltage difference between the IN+ and IN− pins, which ranges from −VREF to VREF. The reference voltage VREF must be externally supplied and can be set up to the supply voltage. The device‘s power consumption increases linearly with throughput.
