AD7606 Replacement: GX7606 Fully Hardware and Software Compatible SAR ADC
GX7606 is an eight-channel, 16-bit, 200 kSPS simultaneous-sampling ADC developed as a direct replacement for AD7606. It supports selectable ±10 V and ±5 V true bipolar inputs from a single 5 V analog supply.
Each channel integrates a 1 MΩ input buffer, clamp protection and a second-order antialiasing filter. Existing AD7606 designs can migrate to GX7606 without modifying the original schematic, PCB, digital interface or data-acquisition software.
GX7606 for AD7606 Replacement and New Designs
GX7606 provides a direct migration path for products currently using AD7606. Pin-to-Pin compatibility allows the original LQFP-64 footprint, analog front end and peripheral circuits to remain unchanged.
For new designs, its eight simultaneously sampled channels are suitable for systems requiring accurate phase and timing relationships across multiple bipolar signals.
Pin-to-Pin Hardware and Software Compatibility with AD7606
GX7606 is hardware compatible with AD7606, including the pinout, 5 V analog supply, VDRIVE logic supply, bipolar analog inputs, conversion-control signals, output interfaces and LQFP-64 footprint.
It is also interface and software compatible with AD7606-based systems. Existing parallel, parallel-byte or SPI-compatible serial acquisition timing, output data format and MCU, DSP or FPGA readout logic can be retained.
This compatibility allows AD7606 to be replaced without changing the original schematic, PCB, processor interface or acquisition software.

Integrated Analog Front End and Applications
GX7606 combines eight SAR ADCs with input buffers, clamp protection, antialiasing filters and an internal reference. This integration allows direct connection to many sensors and signal sources without external driver amplifiers.
