High-precision electrical parameter acquisition system based on the GX7606 analog-to-digital converter, replacing the AD7606

Time:2025-06-05 Views:548
Currently, power system protection and control devices have high requirements for the measurement accuracy of multiple current and voltage channels. The domestically produced analog-to-digital converter GX7606 (compatible with AD7606) features excellent sampling synchronization, strong anti-interference capability, and high sampling accuracy, fully meeting the parameter requirements of this acquisition system. The GX7606 is suitable for multi-channel, high-precision acquisition scenarios and relay protection scenarios, effectively meeting the performance requirements of power systems.

The GX7606 is a synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter, with each channel featuring built-in analog input clamping protection, analog filters, and programmable gain amplifiers. The chip also integrates digital filters, a 3.5ppm/℃ low-drift 2.5V precision reference voltage source, and a 4.5V reference voltage buffer, supporting both parallel and serial interfaces.
The GX7606 operates on a single 5V power supply, with all 8 channels achieving a throughput rate of 200kSPS. It supports ±10V and ±5V true bipolar input ranges, features a 1MΩ analog input impedance, and can withstand input clamping voltages up to ±30V, with an ESD rating of 8kV. For applications with lower throughput requirements, the GX7606‘s built-in oversampling mode and flexible digital filters can be used to improve noise performance.

Key features of the GX7606:
• Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C, 5V single analog power supply
• VDRIVE power supply voltage: 2.3V to 5V, ±30V input clamping protection
• 2nd-order anti-aliasing analog filter, on-chip precision reference source, and reference voltage source buffer
• True bipolar analog input range ±10V, ±5V, with oversampling functionality integrated into the digital filter
• SNR 86dB (without oversampling) 95dB (64x oversampling)
• QFP-64 package, 12mm × 12mm
