The traditional harvester has a complex single machine structure and a variable working environment, so there are many uncontrollable factors during the operation of the harvester. With the continuous development of technology, advanced harvesters with automatic control systems as the core are composed of speed signal acquisition devices, controllers, drive systems, and alarm display devices.
The controller consists of a controller and a control program. Used for analyzing data, determining harvester operating conditions, controlling harvester driving speed, etc. The drive system includes an electronically controlled variable displacement piston pump, a quantitative piston motor, a gearbox, a drive shaft, a wheel reducer, and drive wheels. Controlled by the controller, the control signal is converted into the corresponding driving speed.
Both Hall sensor measurement method and magnetic induction measurement method are non-contact, suitable for harsh environments, and can achieve real-time measurement. The Hall element measurement method has a wide frequency range and can measure from DC to microwave frequency bands, so the Hall element method can be chosen as the method for collecting speed signals.

GX542 is a Hall switch sensor designed based on BCDMOS technology, widely used in various automotive grade products, including agricultural harvesters, civilian vehicles, commercial vehicles, etc. The chip includes temperature compensation, comparator, and output driver. In addition, mechanical stress has little effect on the magnetic parameters of the chip, making it suitable for industrial environments and automotive applications, and complying with the AEC-Q100 automotive electronics industry testing standard.
