24 bit high integration GX4115 replaces AD4115 for analog input module in PLC/DCS

In the field of industrial automation, programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and distributed control systems (DCS) are commonly used control systems. PLCs are mainly used for controlling a single machine, while DCS is used for controlling multiple machines and is suitable for complex industrial processes. The analog input module, as a key interface connecting PLC/DCS systems with the external physical world, is responsible for the important task of converting various analog signals into digital signals.
In PLC/DCS systems, the acquisition accuracy, resolution, noise, and programmable configuration of analog-to-digital converters provide strong support for upgrading and optimizing analog input modules. GXSC‘s 24 bit 125kSPS 8/16 channel high integration AFE is very suitable for application in PLC/DCS modules. The AD4115 chip replaces AD4115 100% in both hardware and software, while reducing the complexity and cost of PLC and DCS modules.
More excellent noise: AD4115 provides good noise characteristics, offering nearly 16 bit noise free resolution at a conversion speed of 31.25kSPS, which is nearly a one bit improvement compared to industry competitors. Good noise is beneficial for the accuracy of small signals, especially in current acquisition applications, where smaller resistance sampling resistors can be used to reduce system power consumption while ensuring the same 0.1% accuracy.
Flexible programmable configuration: AD4115 supports flexible programmable configuration, and various parameters of the chip can be set through SPI interface. Users can adjust parameters such as data rate, PGA gain (ranging from 1 to 128), and filter type according to their actual application needs.
Wide power supply voltage range and low-power design: The AD4115 operates within a wide power supply voltage range of 2.7V to 5.25V. This wide power supply voltage adaptability allows it to be compatible with different power supply configurations in PLC/DCS systems, facilitating system design.
