SerDes chip GX9295A/GX96717 replaces MAX9295A/MAX96717

Serdes technology is currently playing an increasingly important role in the field of new energy vehicles. Serdes technology can provide the required high-speed data transmission capability to support the large amount of data generated by these high-definition cameras. GX9295A and GX96717 are new serial deserializers (SerDes) specially designed for automotive applications, which can directly replace Maxim‘s MAX9295A/MAX96717 and MAX96712/MAX96722. Both chips strictly follow the MIPI A-PHY protocol standard and have passed the AEC-Q100 automotive certification.

The GX9295A sequencer and GX96717 deserializer chips based on MIPI A-PHY protocol can achieve coaxial transmission with a bandwidth of up to 4G and a distance of 15 meters or shielded twisted pair transmission with a distance of 10 meters, facilitating remote control, remote power supply, and remote transmission of high-speed video data. They also have the characteristics of low BER, high anti-interference, and high radiation resistance.
Suitable for scenarios such as multiple cameras in vehicles and long-distance video transmission, ensuring efficient transmission of video data. The MIPI A-PHY protocol, as a globally open standard protocol, occupies a leading position in the industry, with advantages such as long transmission distance, high transmission rate, strong anti-interference ability, good compatibility, and high standardization level, providing a solid technical foundation and guarantee for chip functions.


1. Based on MIPI A-PHY public protocol; 15 meter coaxial cable or 10 meter shielded twisted pair cable, with a compensation capability of up to 30dB for the loss of the entire connection system;
