GXSC 18 bit 200KSPS, 8-channel synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter GX7608 replaces AD7608 for application in multi axis positioning system

Time:2025-08-13 Views:482
Multi axis positioning systems are widely used in industrial robots, CNC machine tools, 3D printing, and other fields. In these applications, multi axis positioning systems can provide higher accuracy, more complex motion control, and better flexibility. The performance of a multi axis positioning system lies in the precise control of the position, velocity, and acceleration of each axis. Each axis can be independently controlled to achieve complex motion trajectories and positioning requirements, which rely on high-precision acquisition of front-end sensor signals.

The GXSC high-precision 18 bit 200KSPS, 8-channel synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter GX7608 is very suitable for the application environment of multi axis positioning systems. Compared with the traditional 12 bit analog-to-digital converter scheme, the GXSC‘s 18 bit resolution can reduce position measurement errors. In precision CNC machine tools, the dimensional accuracy of part processing is improved, thereby increasing the pass rate.
The GX7608 analog-to-digital converter is equipped with 8 18 bit fast, low-power successive approximation ADCs, supporting synchronous sampling of 8 channels. The conversion rate of each channel of the analog-to-digital converter can reach up to 200kSPS. GX7608 only uses a 5V power supply to support the conversion of true bipolar input signals of ± 10V and ± 5V.

In order to simplify the PCB design of the data acquisition system, GX7608 is equipped with an input buffer with a 1M Ω input impedance and an anti aliasing filter for direct acquisition of analog signals. It also integrates a high-precision reference voltage generator and buffer that can be flexibly configured. Supports parallel mode or serial mode, configured through different connection modes of hardware pins, creating multiple connection conditions for the interface connection between devices and microprocessors or DSPs.

The characteristics of GX7608 are as follows:
True bipolar analog input
Input signal range: ± 10V, ± 5V
• Conversion rate: 200kSPS
Low power consumption: 120mW (internal reference, 200kSPS, 5V power supply)
• On chip reference voltage source and buffer
Parallel and serial interface modes
• High speed serial interface compatible with SPI interface protocol
64 pin LQFP package
• Working temperature -40 ℃~+125 ℃
