Industrial testing equipment mainly evaluates the operating status of equipment, diagnoses potential faults, and ensures production quality. Such equipment needs to collect industrial dynamic signals such as motor vibration, pipeline pressure fluctuations, and structural strain. It has the characteristics of multi-channel synchronization, wide frequency range, and strong interference environment. Multi point synchronous acquisition can analyze signal phase correlation.
GXSC‘s 16 bit fast, low-power successive approximation analog-to-digital converter GX7656 supports 6-channel synchronous sampling and can replace AD7656 for industrial detection equipment. GX7656 uses CONVST signals and internal oscillators to control the conversion process and data acquisition. The three CONVST pins allow three pairs of ADCs to independently perform synchronous sampling, or 6-channel synchronous sampling. GX7656 has high precision and high dynamic range to analyze weak dynamic signals in the device, and 6-channel synchronous sampling eliminates phase errors at multiple measurement points.

GX7656 supports high-speed parallel mode or high-speed serial mode, configured through different connection modes of hardware pins. This function creates multiple connection conditions for the interface connection between the device and microprocessors or DSPs. In parallel mode, the maximum sampling rate of GX7656 can reach 250kSPS. GX7656 only uses a 5V power supply to support the conversion of true bipolar input signals of ± 10V and ± 5V. At the same time, GX7656 also has an on-chip reference source, which can simplify application circuit design.
The characteristics of GX7656 are as follows:
True bipolar analog input
• Input signal range: ± 10V/± 5V
• High conversion rate: 250kSPS
Low power consumption: 110mW (250kSPS, 5V power supply)
• On chip reference voltage source and buffer
Parallel and serial interface modes
• High speed serial interface compatible with SPI interface protocol
64 pin LQFP package
