The Battery Management System (BMS) is a core control unit that ensures battery safety, extends lifespan, and optimizes endurance. Through intelligent management of battery charging and discharging processes, real-time state monitoring, energy distribution balancing, and safety assurance, it is widely used in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, industrial equipment, and other fields.
The BMS collects key parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature of the battery in real-time through a sensor network. By combining algorithms, it estimates the battery state (e.g., remaining charge SOC, health state SOH) and ensures the efficient and safe operation of the battery pack through functions like balancing management and thermal management. For electric vehicle BMS, parameter acquisition requires a high-precision analog-to-digital converter, which not only enables the collection of analog data but also reduces sampling resistance values and enhances the core capability of measurement accuracy.

The 18-bit 8-channel 200KSPS synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter (GX7608) supports 8-channel synchronous sampling, with each channel‘s ADC conversion rate reaching up to 200kSPS. To simplify the PCB design of the data acquisition system, the GX7608 incorporates an input buffer with 1MΩ input impedance and an anti-aliasing filter, enabling direct analog signal acquisition. The chip integrates a flexible, high-precision reference voltage generator and buffer.
The GX7608 is powered solely by a 5V supply and can support the conversion of true bipolar input signals ranging from ±10V to ±5V. The chip supports both parallel and serial modes, which are configured through different hardware pin connection schemes, creating multiple interface conditions for connecting the device with microprocessors or DSPs.
The main features of the GX7608 are as follows:
8 independent ADCs
True bipolar analog input
Input signal range: ±10V, ±5V
Conversion rate: 200 kSPS
Low power consumption: 120mW (internal reference, 200kSPS, 5V power supply)
On-chip reference voltage source and buffer
Parallel and Serial Interface Modes
High-speed serial interface compatible with SPI protocol
64-pin LQFP package
