The Battery Management System (BMS) serves as the core control unit for ensuring battery safety, extending lifespan, and optimizing range. By intelligently managing the charging and discharging processes, monitoring real-time status, balancing energy distribution, and ensuring safe operation, it is widely used in electric vehicles, energy storage systems, industrial equipment, and other fields.
The BMS collects key parameters such as voltage, current, and temperature of the battery in real time through a sensor network. It estimates the battery state (e.g., remaining charge SOC, health state SOH) by combining algorithms and ensures the efficient and safe operation of the battery pack through functions like balancing management and thermal management. For electric vehicle BMS, parameter acquisition requires a high-precision analog-to-digital converter, which enhances the core capability of measurement accuracy while reducing the sampling resistance value and achieving analog data collection.

The 18-bit 8-channel 200KSPS synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter GX7608 supports synchronous sampling across all 8 channels, with each ADC achieving a conversion rate of up to 200kSPS. To simplify PCB design for data acquisition systems, the GX7608 incorporates an input buffer with 1MΩ input impedance and an anti-aliasing filter, enabling direct analog signal acquisition. The chip features a highly configurable precision reference voltage generator and buffer.
The GX7608 operates on a single 5V power supply and supports true bipolar input signals ranging from ±10V to ±5V. The chip is configurable in either parallel or serial mode via different hardware pin connection configurations, enabling multiple interfacing conditions between the device and microprocessors or DSPs.
The main features of the GX7608 are as follows:
8 independent ADCs
True bipolar analog input
Input signal range: ±10V, ±5V
Conversion rate: 200 kSPS
Low power consumption: 120mW (internal reference, 200kSPS, 5V power supply)
