The 4-channel 14-bit 125MSPS sampling ADC GX9253 is applied to the digitization of base station RF signals

Time:2025-09-29 Views:250
The communication base station system typically requires RF signal acquisition to achieve signal demodulation, power control, interference suppression, and other functions. The base station must collect multi-band RF signals received by the antenna in real time, perform digital signal processing after analog-to-digital conversion (ADC), and complete user data demodulation, signal quality assessment, and adaptive modulation. Additionally, feedback signals from the transmission link must be collected to achieve power calibration and linearity optimization. Since 5G base station signal bandwidth requires ultra-high sampling rate ADCs to fully capture the signal spectrum, this paper recommends a four-channel 14-bit 125MSPS sampling ADC for base station RF signal digitization. This ADC product can meet the following advantages:
Product dimensions, pin function compatibility reference model
Single power supply, more convenient to use
Low power consumption, no need for a heat sink
Adjustable input voltage range
The GX9253 features a built-in sample-and-hold circuit, specifically designed for low cost, low power consumption, compact size, and ease of use. With a maximum conversion rate of 125 MSPS, it delivers outstanding dynamic performance and low-power characteristics, making it ideal for applications requiring small package dimensions. The GX9253 operates on a single 1.8V power supply and supports LVPECL/CMOS/LVDS-compatible sampling clock signals to optimize its performance. For most applications, external reference sources or driver components are unnecessary.
To achieve the appropriate LVDS serial data rate, the GX9253 automatically multiplies the sampling clock. It provides a data clock output (DCO) for capturing data at the output and a frame clock output (FCO) for transmitting new output byte signals. It also supports individual channels entering power-saving mode; when all channels are disabled, the typical power consumption is below 2.2mW.
