Synchronous Sampling ADC GX7608 Replacing AD7608 for Multiphase Motor Control

Time:2025-11-04 Views:115
Multiphase motor control systems offer significant advantages over traditional three-phase motors. In terms of power density, multiphase motors can deliver higher power output within the same volume and weight, excelling in applications with strict space and weight constraints. Regarding operational stability and reliability, the increased number of phases in multiphase motors ensures continued operation even if one or more phases fail, as the remaining phases can compensate.

Multiphase motor control requires the real-time and accurate acquisition of various operational parameters such as current, voltage, and position to adjust control strategies and achieve optimal motor performance. The GXSC eight-channel 18-bit 200kSPS synchronous sampling ADC GX7608 can precisely convert motor analog signals into digital signals, providing accurate data support for motor control systems. Its 18-bit high-precision conversion capability enables the detection of subtle changes in motor operational parameters, laying the foundation for precise control; the 200kSPS high-speed sampling rate allows rapid response to changes in motor operation, enabling the control system to make timely adjustments; and the eight-channel feature supports simultaneous acquisition of multiple parameters, meeting the complex control requirements of multiphase motors.
The GX7608 operates on a 5V power supply and supports the conversion of true bipolar input signals ranging from ±10V to +5V. With its built-in calibration algorithm, the product not only achieves ADC performance equivalent to imported reference products but also delivers a bipolar zero-level error as low as +4LSB and channel isolation exceeding -100dB. Featuring an input buffer with 1MΩ input impedance and an anti-aliasing filter, the GX7608 facilitates direct analog signal acquisition. Additionally, it integrates a highly configurable high-precision reference voltage generator and buffer, simplifying PCB design for data acquisition systems.

The GX7608 supports both parallel and serial modes, configured via different hardware pin connection patterns, which creates multiple interface connection conditions for the device to connect with microprocessors or DSPs.
