Ultrasonic technology offers advantages such as being non-invasive, real-time, low-cost, and highly safe. The workflow of ultrasonic equipment involves ultrasonic wave transmission—echo reception—signal conditioning—analog-to-digital conversion—signal processing—image/result output. However, during propagation and reflection, ultrasonic signals experience rapid attenuation and wide bandwidth, with target information hidden within faint signal details. This imposes stringent requirements on the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) in the signal processing chain, demanding "high speed, high precision, and high signal-to-noise ratio." The GXSC GX9268 ADC, featuring 16-bit high resolution, 250 MSPS ultra-high sampling rate, and exceptional signal capture capability, is ideally suited for mid-to-high-end ultrasonic equipment.
The GX9268 features two built-in 16-bit, 125MSPS analog-to-digital converters (ADCs). Each ADC core employs a multi-stage differential pipelined architecture and integrates output error correction logic. Both ADCs offer broadbandwidth and differential sample-and-hold analog input amplifiers, supporting user-selectable input ranges. The GX9268 can directly output data to two external 16-bit ports, configurable as 1.8V CMOS or LVDS. Flexible power-down options are available to significantly reduce power consumption when needed. Programming for setup and control is accomplished via a three-wire SPI-compatible serial interface.

For various application scenarios, the GX9268 can provide product series with different speed tiers (60M/80M/105M/125M) based on application requirements, enabling flexible power consumption control. The speed tier can be identified via the speed grade register. The advantages of the GX9268 are introduced as follows:
The package adopts a plastic LFCSP64, with functional compatibility to the reference model AD9268
