GXSC ADC replaces EV10AQ190A in point-to-point microwave receivers

Time:2025-11-20 Views:95
In microwave communication systems, the point-to-point microwave receiver accomplishes the reception and demodulation of microwave signals. Based on electromagnetic wave reception and signal processing technologies, when the microwave signal is received through the antenna, it is amplified by a low-noise amplifier, the frequency of the microwave signal is converted into an intermediate frequency signal, and then the intermediate frequency signal undergoes filtering, amplification, and other processing. Finally, the demodulator restores the signal to its original information data. Throughout this process, the receiver must precisely adjust and control each step to ensure accurate and stable reception and demodulation of microwave signals.

The GXSC four-channel 10-bit 1.25/2.5/5GSPS high-speed ADC product features a self-designed architecture, achieving excellent dynamic performance with a low power consumption of less than 3.2W. It is widely applicable across various fields and is particularly suitable for point-to-point microwave receivers. The high sampling rate enables rapid and accurate sampling of microwave signals, as the variations in microwave communication signals occur extremely quickly.
The GXSC analog-to-digital converter integrates four 10-bit, 1.25 GSPS high-speed ADCs, each with an independent DDR data clock. When multiple ADC channels are active, any data clock can be selected to simultaneously sample data from several channels. The chip supports interleaved operation modes between channels: in dual-channel mode, the ADC operates at a 2.5 GSPS sampling rate, while in single-channel mode, the ADC operates at a 5 GSPS sampling rate.

Additionally, it supports the AutoSync function for automatic synchronization, suitable for multi-ADC cascading. It enables both single-board multi-ADC cascading auto-sync and multi-board multi-ADC cascading auto-sync. The data output format is programmable in offset binary and two‘s complement formats, offering user-friendly options. The product employs parallel LVDS interfaces for data output, with a minimum conversion delay of 19ns.
