The precise diagnosis and treatment of medical instruments primarily rely on reliable physiological data acquisition. As the core bridge between analog and digital signals, the accuracy and stability of analog-to-digital converters directly determine the credibility of diagnostic and therapeutic outcomes. Guoxin Sichen‘s 16-bit high-precision analog-to-digital converter, with its advantages such as high resolution and low noise, is highly suitable for medical scenarios like ECG monitors and blood analyzers, making it an optimal solution for medical equipment development.
Medical instruments demand far higher requirements for analog-to-digital converters (ADCs) than industrial applications. The GXSC ADC features a built-in single-channel 16-bit fast low-power successive approximation register ADC with a conversion rate of up to 750 kSPS. With high resolution and low noise, it can capture physiological signals at the mV or even μV level while filtering noise. Through its integrated calibration algorithm, the product significantly enhances both dynamic and static performance, achieving a bipolar zero-level error as low as +2 LSB and linearity below 1 LSB. Due to its single 5V power supply design, it also consumes lower power.

To simplify the PCB design of the data acquisition system, the GXSC analog-to-digital converter incorporates an input buffer with a 1MΩ input impedance and an anti-aliasing filter, enabling direct analog signal acquisition. The chip integrates a flexibly configurable high-precision reference voltage generator and buffer, supporting both parallel and serial modes, which can be configured via different hardware pin connection patterns. This feature creates multiple interface conditions for connecting the device to microprocessors or DSPs.
