GXSC 4-channel 12-bit synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter replacing AD7874 for motor control applications

Time:2025-12-09 Views:48
Motor control primarily achieves precise regulation of motor start-up, acceleration, deceleration, and stopping by adjusting current and voltage. It is widely used in industrial automation and robotics. The accuracy and stability of motor control systems rely on the precise acquisition and real-time feedback of motor operating state parameters, requiring a high-performance analog-to-digital converter to ensure control precision and response speed.

The 12-bit high-precision, multi-channel synchronous sampling analog-to-digital converter (GXSC) delivers outstanding performance in various motor control scenarios, including DC motors and AC asynchronous motors, perfectly meeting the signal acquisition requirements of motor control applications.

The GXSC analog-to-digital converter incorporates a 12-bit ADC, an on-chip reference voltage source, an on-chip clock, and four sample-and-hold amplifiers, enabling simultaneous sampling of four input channels while maintaining the relative phase relationship among them. The aperture delays of the four sample-and-hold amplifiers are minimal, with minimum and maximum limits that allow multiple chips to sample multiple input channels simultaneously without causing phase errors between signals connected to multiple devices. The reference voltage output/reference voltage input feature also enables multiple chips to be driven by the same reference voltage source.
The GXSC analog-to-digital converter features a standard digital interface, enabling seamless connection between the device and microprocessors or DSPs. It operates on a 5V power supply and supports the conversion of true bipolar input signals with a range of +10V.

Advantages of GXSC Analog-to-Digital Converter Products:
Powered by a 5V power supply, it supports conversion of true bipolar input signals with a range of +10V.
Adopting the ceramic-sealed CDIP28 package, compatible with the imported product AD7874
Single 5V power supply, compatible with ±5V power pins for easy application
Product dimensions, pin compatibility, and functional reference product
Better signal-to-noise ratio, higher linearity
Lower bipolar zero-level error, lower positive and negative full-scale error
Higher channel isolation
