Structural modal analysis can obtain the dynamic characteristics of mechanical systems, with the primary accuracy depending on the quality of vibration signal acquisition. Precise capture of weak vibration signals, synchronous acquisition of multi-point signals, and distortion-free conversion of wide dynamic range signals directly determine the reliability of modal parameter identification. The GXSC, a 24-bit analog-to-digital converter based on Delta-Sigma architecture, supports a maximum data output rate of 256KSPS. Its 64-pin LQFP package allows pin-to-pin replacement of TI‘s ADS1278, offering GXSC a competitive price advantage and stable supply channels.
As a 24-bit resolution ADC, it achieves an effective resolution of up to 23.5 bits (typical value), with low quantization error, enabling precise capture of weak vibration signals before structural resonance, providing a foundation for fine identification of modal parameters.
The GXSC analog-to-digital converter chip internally includes functional modules such as a Delta-Sigma modulator, digital filter, serial port data output, clock, logic control, and 10 ports. It not only achieves precise DC measurement characteristics but also delivers high-level AC-related performance. The chip offers five selectable modes: ultra-high speed, high speed, high precision with low power consumption, and low speed. Users can enter corresponding working modes by configuring related pins through hardware. The on-chip digital filter is responsible for converting the oversampled signals output by the analog-side Delta-Sigma modulator into low-noise digital signals.

The data of the GXSC analog-to-digital converter can be read via the serial interface while supporting the SP1 Frame-Sync protocol. It also supports cascading multiple devices for output data and external synchronization, facilitating applications requiring more than 8 ADC channels. The operating temperature range supported is -55°C to +125°C
