Commercial air conditioning systems are core HVAC equipment widely used in commercial buildings, large venues, and industrial plants. Their control systems require coordinated operation of indoor and outdoor units, distributed sensor data acquisition, and remote operation and maintenance management. Traditional commercial air conditioning control systems often employ RS485 bus or point-to-point wiring schemes, characterized by complex wiring, limited communication distance, weak anti-interference capability, and delayed energy consumption monitoring.
The GXSC family bus system transceiver adopts an innovative architecture for single-line data and power transmission, featuring high integration and strong environmental adaptability, making it the preferred solution for intelligent control of commercial air conditioning systems
High integration reduces BQM costs and PCB size
Support for larger receiver latency
The slew rate of the signal transmission is adjustable
No need for large AC blocking inductors, supporting up to 65mA system load power supply
Receiver voltage threshold is adjustable
Data rate: 9600 bps to 200 kbps
Dynamic switchable cable termination impedance to enhance signal integrity during high-speed transmission
In conjunction with external components, it supports IEC 61000-4-2 ±8kV contact discharge and ±15kV air discharge protection
With external components, it supports IEC 61000-4-5 ±1kV surge protection and thermal shutdown protection
4mm x 4mm TQFN package
Operating temperature range: -40°C to +125°C

The GXSC home bus transceiver complies with the Home Bus System (HBS) standard, utilizing a twisted-pair cable for both data and power transmission to minimize external component requirements. This chip eliminates the need for large external AC-blocking inductors typically required in bus-powered applications and integrates a 5V linear regulator capable of supplying up to 65mA of system load. The device operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, featuring a 24-pin 4mmx4mm TQFN package that is pin-to-pin compatible with the MAX22088.
The chip supports a data transmission rate of up to 200 Kbps, meeting the high-speed data communication needs between various devices, such as data transfer between sensors and controllers, as well as information exchange among different functional modules. The chip features dynamic cable matching resistors to enhance signal integrity during high-speed transmission, along with characteristics like a large receiver hysteresis, adjustable receiver voltage threshold, and tunable transmitter signal slew rate.
Key Features of the GXSC Family Bus Transceiver:
• Supports larger receiver latency
