The GXSC analog-to-digital converter replaces the AD7608 for application in instrumentation and control systems

Time:2025-12-22 Views:6
The core of instrumentation and control systems lies in precise regulation and accurate data acquisition, requiring closed-loop control of actuators based on real-time and accurate field data. The GXSC high-resolution, low-noise analog-to-digital converter serves as an ideal data acquisition core for various precision measurement instruments, widely used in power quality analyzers, multi-parameter testers, vibration analyzers, and other devices. Its synchronous sampling, high-speed transmission, and robust environmental adaptability enable the chip to play a critical role in data acquisition within control systems such as multiphase motor control, industrial process control, and power system protection.

The GXSC analog-to-digital converter features eight built-in 18-bit fast, low-power successive approximation ADCs, supporting synchronous sampling across eight channels. Each channel‘s ADC achieves a conversion rate of up to 200kSPS. The chip operates on a single 5V power supply and supports true bipolar input signals ranging from ±10V to +5V. With its integrated calibration algorithm, the product not only matches the ADC performance of imported reference products but also achieves a bipolar zero-level error as low as +4LSB and channel isolation better than -100dB.
The GXSC analog-to-digital converter features an input buffer with 1MΩ input impedance and an anti-aliasing filter for direct analog signal acquisition. It integrates a flexible, high-precision reference voltage generator and buffer, simplifying PCB design for data acquisition systems. The chip supports both parallel and serial modes, configured via different hardware pin connection patterns. This functionality creates multiple connection options for interfacing the device with microprocessors or DSPs.

Advantages of GXSC Analog-to-Digital Converter Products:
The product dimensions, pinouts, functions, and timing are compatible with the reference product, supporting pin-to-pin drop-in replacement for the AD7608
Single 5V power supply
Lower bipolar supply voltage error, lower positive and negative full-scale error
Higher channel isolation
