Environmental monitoring equipment enables precise, real-time collection of environmental parameters such as atmospheric conditions, water quality, and soil status. Its applications span diverse scenarios including urban monitoring stations, industrial parks, remote mountainous areas, and water basin monitoring. These systems face multiple challenges including complex outdoor operating conditions, weak signal acquisition, and multi-parameter coordinated monitoring. Addressing the practical needs of environmental monitoring, the GXSC four-channel 144ksps 24-bit A/D converter delivers high-precision acquisition for weak signals.
Many critical indicators in environmental monitoring—such as trace heavy metal ion concentrations, PM2.5 particulate matter levels, and trace gas content—correspond to sensor outputs ranging from nanovolt to millivolt levels. These weak analog signals are highly susceptible to environmental noise interference. The GXSC‘s 24-bit ultra-high resolution and low-noise characteristics enable precise capture of minute signal variations, ensuring monitoring data accuracy.

This chip employs a high-order multi-bit Delta-sigma modulator that shapes in-band noise before filtering it out via an on-chip digital decimation filter, achieving exceptionally low in-band noise power. Two on-chip digital filters are selectable: A high-bandwidth FIR filter with an effective bandwidth reaching 90.6% of the Nyquist bandwidth, while maintaining in-band ripple below ±0.005dB; or a low-latency SINC filter that produces stable data output within 6 cycles with superior noise performance.
The GXSC ADC features:
• 8-channel synchronous sampling at up to 144 kSps
• Selectable high-bandwidth FIR or low-latency SINC filters
• Low power consumption: HS mode: 34.0mW/channel; HR mode: 20.8mW/channel; LP mode: 10.9mW/channel; LS mode: 2.7mW/channel
• Rail-to-rail input common-mode level
• Common-mode rejection ratio: 116dB
• Analog power supply: 5V; Digital power supply: 1.8V
• I/O power supply: 1.8V to 3.3V
• SPI or frame synchronous interface, supporting daisy chain mode
• ESD rating: HBM ±2kV, CDM ±2kV; Latch-up ±600mA
• Operating temperature range: -40°C to +85°C
