In modern electronic systems, multi-rail power architectures have become the mainstream design approach. Whether in servers, industrial control equipment, or communication base stations, these systems require simultaneous, independent power supply to various components such as CPUs, FPGAs, RF modules, and sensors. Multi-rail power management enables precise monitoring of multiple voltage and current channels, as well as the temperatures of critical components, providing anomaly alerts and safety protection. Traditional multi-rail power monitoring solutions require multiple independent voltage monitors, current sensors, and temperature sensors, resulting not only in complex circuitry but also issues such as low monitoring accuracy and poor data synchronization.
The GXSC multi-parameter synchronous monitoring solution ensures comprehensive power supply monitoring. The GXSC four-channel I2C voltage, current, and temperature monitor is suitable for board-level system voltage, current, and temperature monitoring, with single-ended voltage resolution as low as 305.18 μV, differential voltage resolution as low as 19.075 μV, and temperature resolution as low as 0.0625°C. Within the -40°C to 125°C range, voltage measurement accuracy is better than 0.25%, current measurement accuracy is better than 0.75%, and temperature measurement accuracy is better than 1.8°C, making it suitable for single or mixed system applications involving voltage, current, and temperature in power supplies and similar systems.

Key features of the GXSC sensor chip:
Can measure 4 single-ended voltage channels, 2 differential voltage (or current) channels, or 2 remote temperature channels
Capable of measuring a single parameter or any combination of voltage, current, and temperature
Capable of measuring the chip’s own operating voltage and temperature
Single-ended voltage measurement accuracy better than 0.75%, 305.18 μV resolution
Differential voltage and current measurement accuracy better than 0.75%, 19.075 μV resolution
Remote temperature measurement accuracy better than 1.8°C, 0.0625°C resolution
Internal temperature measurement accuracy better than 1.5°C, 0.0625°C resolution
14-bit ADC for voltage/current measurement
2.9V to 5.5V operating voltage range
I²C interface with 4 selectable addresses; supports up to 4 chips on a single bus
Internal 10 ppm/°C voltage reference
ESD protection rating of 6 kV HBM for analog input pins V1–V4
This chip integrates a high-precision internal reference with a temperature drift of 10 ppm/°C, eliminating the need for an external reference. Compared to other solutions, this reduces the number of components required for engineering applications, lowers material costs, minimizes PCB footprint, and improves board integration.
