Test and measurement equipment encompasses analytical instruments, laser measurement sensors, 3D measurement instruments, and electronic test tools, and is widely used in scientific research, industry, healthcare, and environmental monitoring. Its functions include generating standard analog signals, calibrating parameters of the equipment under test, and acquiring and analyzing measured signals. The performance requirements for digital-to-analog converters (DACs) in these applications far exceed those of typical industrial scenarios, with key demands centered on accuracy, speed, stability, and flexibility.
This article recommends the GXSC single-channel 14-bit 125 MSPS DAC. With its high-speed conversion, excellent dynamic performance, and high integration, it is the preferred component for the DAC stage in test and measurement equipment, providing a high-performance, cost-effective solution for various types of test and measurement devices.

The GXSC DAC is manufactured using advanced CMOS technology and features a segmented current-source architecture. This manufacturing process not only reduces stray components but also enhances dynamic performance. It integrates an edge-triggered input latch and a 1.25V temperature-compensated bandgap reference to provide a complete monolithic digital-to-analog conversion solution. The differential current output supports both single-ended and differential applications; in differential output mode, the matching between the two current outputs affects dynamic performance. The current output can be directly connected to an output resistor to provide two complementary single-ended voltage outputs, or it can be directly connected to a transformer.
