Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) serve as control terminals in industrial automation and process control. Through logical operations, data processing, and instruction output, they enable closed-loop process control and coordinated equipment operation. The PLC analog output module serves as the critical link for converting digital control commands into continuous analog signals. GXSC’s digital-to-analog converter (DAC) features 16-bit high resolution, programmable voltage/current dual-mode output, minimal temperature drift, and a highly integrated, simplified architecture that fully meets the application requirements of programmable logic controllers.
The GXSC DAC features built-in programmable current sources and programmable voltage outputs to meet the needs of industrial process control applications. The output current range can be programmed to 4 mA to 20 mA, 0 mA to 20 mA, or an overrange of 0 mA to 24 mA. The voltage output is provided via a dedicated pin, which can be configured to deliver output ranges of 0 V to 5 V, 0 V to 10 V, ±5 V, or ±10 V; All ranges provide 10% overrange.

The GXSC DAC’s analog outputs feature short-circuit and open-circuit protection and can drive a 1μF capacitive load. Its AVDD operating voltage range is 10.8V to 40V, and the output loop compliance voltage range is 0V to AVDD − 2.5V. Additionally, the GXSC DAC’s flexible serial interface is SPI and MICROWIRE compatible and can operate in three-wire mode, significantly reducing digital isolation requirements for isolated applications. The device also includes a power-on reset function, ensuring the device powers up in a known state. The device also features an asynchronous clear pin (CLEAR), which can set the output to a zero-level/mid-level voltage or to the low end of the selected current range.
