Home blood pressure monitors are important tools for daily blood pressure monitoring, and effective blood pressure monitoring is a key link in hypertension management. The accuracy of blood pressure measurement is crucial, and small errors may lead to patients misjudging the condition, thereby affecting the formulation of treatment plans. The blood pressure monitor mainly detects human blood pressure through a pressure detection module and an analog-to-digital converter. The high-performance analog front-end chip GX1298R of GXSC is very suitable for the application of home blood pressure monitors. The signal acquisition and processing capabilities of this GX1298R chip are comparable to ADS1298R, providing a new solution for improving the performance of home blood pressure monitors.
The precise measurement of household blood pressure monitors has strict requirements, and human blood pressure signals are weak and easily interfered. The GX1298R integrates 8 low-noise programmable gain amplifiers and 8 24 bit high-resolution analog-to-digital converters to meet the precise acquisition of blood pressure signals. The input reference noise of GX1298R is extremely low, with an average input reference noise of 4.11 μ Vpp (0.64 μ Vrms) (BW=112.5Hz, G=6) for all channels. This means that weak blood pressure signals can be captured with extremely high accuracy, effectively reducing the impact of noise on measurement results.
GX1298R can be configured with a multiplexer to select the signal connected to the ADC main channel, enabling offset testing, temperature monitoring, power measurement, and channel testing, making it more convenient to monitor the environmental configuration of the chip and product operation. In addition, the multiplexer can be configured to select the common mode level of any input channel to generate the Right Leg Drive (RLD) signal.

GX1298R is equipped with pull-up/pull-down resistors, excitation current traps/sources, and AC lead detection functions. Equipped with a pacing amplifier on the hardware, it can be used in conjunction with peripheral circuits to achieve pacing detection; The data rate on the software can reach up to 32kSPS, enabling software pacing detection. In addition, the GX1298R integrates the Wilson Center Terminal (WCT) and Goldberg Center Terminal (GCT) required for 12 lead ECG, as well as respiratory impedance measurement functionality. The main features of GX1298R are as follows:
Data rate: 31.25SPS to 32kSPS
