GXSC power module regulator replaces LTM4644 for ASIC application

Time:2025-12-16 Views:28
Application specific integrated circuits (ASICs), as customized high-performance chips, are widely used in core scenarios such as artificial intelligence, data centers, and communication base stations. The continuous improvement of their computing power density and functional integration has put forward strict requirements for power supply systems, including multiple voltage rails, high dynamic response, low noise, and high reliability. The stability of the power supply system directly determines the computational accuracy, power consumption control, and long-term lifespan of ASIC, while the load point (POL) regulator needs to accurately match the complex power supply requirements of ASIC.

The GXSC‘s four channel DC/DC buck miniature module regulator is highly integrated, with independent multi-channel regulation and fast transient response, making it ideal for use in application specific integrated circuits (ASICs). Its high integration and precise control capabilities provide efficient solutions for complex power supply scenarios.
The GXSC DC/DC regulator can provide 4A current per output, and the output can be connected in parallel to form an array to provide up to 16A current capability. The package includes a switch controller, power FET, inductor, and supporting components.

The GXSC DC/DC regulator can operate within an input voltage range of 4V to 14V or 2.375V to 14V (using an external bias power supply), supporting an output voltage range of 0.6V to 5.5V. The high-efficiency design of this device enables each channel to provide 4A continuous (5A peak) output current. Only large capacity input and output capacitors are required.
