GXSC beamformer replaces ADMV4680 for multi band or multi standard communication systems

Time:2026-01-21 Views:61
The GXSC beamformer covers the receiving (10.7-12.7GHz) and transmitting (14-14.5GHz) frequency bands of Ku satellite communication, integrating 4 receiving and 4 transmitting channels and corresponding power synthesis/distribution networks. It is a highly integrated silicon-based beamforming chip, which is particularly suitable for multi band or multi standard communication systems due to its wideband characteristics. It can dynamically adjust signal strength to meet the needs of different working conditions.

The GXSC beamformer supports 6-bit amplitude and 6-bit phase control for both receiving and transmitting channels, and uses 4-wire standard SPI logic for register configuration and control. It supports bias adjustment, on/off control of each channel, and transmit/receive switching. At the same time, a single chip has five address lines (ADD0~ADD4) to achieve serial control of up to 32 chips in applications. The chip supports beam storage internally, making it easy to quickly switch beam states.
